PRODUCTS
AD SERIES MAINS POWER SUPPLIES
The AD Series units can be used to supply DC power to mobile radios and other appliances from AC mains used in offices, portable site cabins, communication cabins, telephone exchanges, remote antennae sites, ships and oil rigs.
The units will accept either European 230Vac or US 115Vac inputs and are available as standard in 12V, 24V and 48V output configurations. Input is via a standard IEC-320 C13/14 power cord with UK, European or US mains plug.
USB CHARGERS
Whether you are installing in a seatback or sidewall of a bus, coach, train or car. Whatever the application, you will find a suitable USB charger for the job in our range of units.
Our USBs are designed for use in both rail and automotive respectively, with a suite of products made and approved specifically for these applications.
Certain models are available with IP65 protection, giving extra resistance against water and dust ingress. These particular units will withstand the most demanding environments that require electronic circuitry
POWERTECTOR LOW VOLTAGE DISCONNECT
The PowerTector Range comprises of solid-state battery guards that will monitor the source voltage and disconnect the equipment from the battery if the voltage falls below a predetermined level.
This can work to ensure there is always sufficient power remaining in the battery to start a vehicle engine or ensure power is available for other critical applications including communications.
USB Power Delivery
With more demand for higher powered USB charging on public transport and the increasing need for user accessible devices for on the move laptop and tablet charging.
The PowerVerter Power Delivery USB charging range is specifically designed to meet all requirements for various applications.
These units can easily be installed into seatbacks (space permitting), between or under seats using the suitable mounting pod available or directly into the vehicle wall for either OEM fit or part of a service programme to replace mains power.
WIRELESS CHARGING
The Alfacharge wireless chargers are designed for charging phones and tablets that have the wireless charging feature enabled.
The range of products are totally versatile and comprise of units that can be integrated into consoles and tables, and more recent the Podsole that offers wireless charging and quick charge USB in one neat console.
DC-DC VOLTAGE CONVERTERS
These converter products offer a convenient method of operating mass-produced equipment such as in-car entertainment, CCTV, professional communications, telematics equipment, refrigerators, televisions, etc when the voltage is different to that of the electrical system.
This range also includes stabilised 12Vdc-12Vdc, 24Vdc – 24Vdc converters, step-up and dual output converters with ruggedised IP65 configurations available too.
DC-DC INTELLIGENT BATTERY CHARGERS
The DC-DC intelligent battery charger products provide independent battery power by charging one DC battery from another.
The Alfatronix range of DC-DC chargers is based on the successful PowerVerter range and configured to offer a four-stage charging program that will ensure batteries are charged to a maximum capacity providing long-term reliable power.
AD SERIES DESKTOP POWER SUPPLIES
The desktop power supplies, popularly called the "wedge" due to the distinctive, ergonomically friendly shape, offer a convenient way to convert 12Vdc mobile radio transceivers for use as desktop base stations.
They will operate from AC supplies of either 115V or 230V without manual adjustment and output up to 108W (9Amps).
Alfatronix Desktop “wedge” power supplies are configured to suit a wide range of radio transceivers from many manufacturers. However, if you use a variety of radio not listed, try our UNIVERSAL unit (P/N AD UN UNI).
